Atol Protector is an Atol Aurora tuned for rough use by the military, Coast Guard and authorities. Capable of carrying cameras, FLIR and other surveillance equipment, it can fly either with or without a pilot for 8-hour long flights ranging up to 800 km. With the optional additional fuel tanks and without a pilot, it can stay airborne for 20 hours.
As an amphibian, Atol Protector can use – just like the Atol Aurora – paved or unpaved runways, lakes, seas, rivers, snow or ice for the take-off and landing.
